Being a fashion critique, (even though I have no experience in any part of the industry) I have doubts on whether the Philippines have the capability to showcase their unique country using simply cultures that epitomizes their individuality. Our country is of course one of the most exotic places to be, but apart from being a Western-influenced nation- we have have more originality than anyone at best. Since we have followed mostly a lot of foreign cultures, we haven't yet gotten the chance to blast our own, that's for sure. I love designers who think more of where they came from, and bring out what they actually live for. Look at Ivarluski Aseron, Rajo Laurel... the they bring out the best
